It does this through an annual judged competition, the showcase sun exhibition, with allied events and seminars highlighting photography generated in the Northern regions of the British Isles, within the disciplines of advertising, design, fashion and editorial. http://photo.jellycast.com/node/20 In March 2006 we took the SUN Awards to the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle for the first time. Being in such a fantastic commercial art space also gave us a chance to initiate the SUN Special Edition 'fine art' prints. In this short movie you can see us in the throws of hanging the show, followed by the Private View that evening which attracted around 800 people. That success was repeated in 2007 and we'll be at the Biscuit Factory again on 7th March 2008.
